New to HBQS?
Are you new to quilting with us or maybe to longarm quilting in general? All first time clients get 15% off E2E quilting on their first quilt! We hope this makes it a little less scary to give us a try :)
Pricing
At HBQS we charge $0.02 per square inch for E2E quilting. This price is all inclusive (thread, trimming, etc.) aside from batting, binding, and return shipping.
To estimate the cost of quilting before you send in a quilt, multiply the length of your quilt by the width (in inches), then multiply by the cost per sq. in ($0.02).
There is a $50 minimum load, which means this amount will be charged instead of the square inch cost for your quilt if it is less than $50. This is only because even a small quilt takes some prep and set-up time.
All prices are in $CAD and are subject to HST.

Batting
We offer three types of batting:
1. Hobbs 80/20 Cotton Poly 96" ($14/meter)
2. Tender Touch 50/50 Cotton Bamboo Blend 120" ($16/meter)
3. Tender Touch Bright White 100% Cotton 120" ($18/meter)
The 96" or 120" measurement refers to the width of the batting on the roll. Whenever possible, batting is cut to the shortest dimension of your quilt. Any excess from the width of the batting (96" or 120") will be returned with the quilt.
I recommend bright white batting for any quilts with a white background as it does a better job of hiding the shadows of your seams.
You are also welcome to send your own batting! We just ask that you ensure it's a few inches larger than your quilt top.
Binding
The binding services that we offer are:
1. Attaching binding to the top of your quilt ($0.10/linear inch)
2. Attaching and finishing it by hand ($0.30/linear inch)
I personally love the look of hand binding and I think it finishes a quilt so beautifully!
If you opt for one of our binding services, please send either finished binding strips or enough of your chosen fabric and I will happily make the binding for you at no additional charge (I secretly love this part!).
